Retreating is good for your soul….

Ready to experience MIND-BODY-SPIRIT healing?

The land, and animals have been waiting for this time in history. Where seekers of peace and lovers of Mother Earth reconnect with what it is we’ve lost, or forgotten.

Connection. Intuition.  Compassion. Clarity. Wildness. Freedom.

Graystar Wellness Farm offers seasonal day & weekend RETREATS for people from all walks of life who want to explore connecting meaningfully to horses, deeply with nature, and more peacefully with themselves in order to experience a revelation or welcome a transformation.

Participants leave these experiences feeling:

  • Connected, Inspired, Empowered
  • In Alignment with their unique authenticity
  • Deeply supported by the  land and animals
  • Physically, Mentally, Spiritually Relaxed & Restored
  • With new friendships, cheerleaders and community of sisterhood support

Here’s why NATURE, HORSES, REST and REFLECTION can help.

Horses possess a magical (other worldly) ability to reflect the deeper inner-workings of the human psyche. They sense spiritual longings and can help to connect you to your own and collective helping spirits.

Horses have a keen sense of intuition. Their instinctual way of BEING in the world can offer humans who engage with them important sensory information that benefits us personally, professionally and most of all spiritually.   They share their compassionate heart in such profound ways that it enables humans to experience safety, belonging protection, guidance and insight. This deep support and honest reflection invites you to let go of outdated concepts about who you should be and how you should live. Instead ushering in ideas and visions of what else may be possible.

Through both passive and  interactive rituals and practices, plus time and space to simply BE with the herd, and commune with the land.

Imagine being SO connected to what has heart and meaning  that creating new perspectives and living your life on purpose flows naturally with ease and grace.

Why Retreat with Horses?

When you retreat with horses, you open to the experience of non-linear, non-human knowing. While held in natures embrace, you explore the richness of connection by learning how you ATTUNE & COMMUNE. The wise and generous spirit of the horse guides the way....

– It’s a horse powered, embodiment experience

Have Questions ? Look here for answers to some common ones

  • I have little to no horse experience, is this retreat still suitable for me? ( YES! This retreat is about honouring YOU and where YOU’RE at. All interactions with horses are on the ground. We provide you with all of the support and guidance you’ll need to explore & expand your current relationship with the magnificent equine)
  • I have some physical limitations or concerns – will I still be able to participate in yoga session and meditation in motion ?  (YES. Tracy will be guiding us through a Restorative or YIN yoga practice. Suitable for all bodies and all levels. You are encouraged to honour your limits and communicate your need for support when/if you find you need it during any of the weekend activities)

  • Is it private or shared rooms available for the retreat?  (BOTH. Early bird folks get their choice of either a private OR shared room. If your travelling with a friend, how fun to consider sharing a room!)

  • What amenities are on site?  (The guest cottage has a private full kitchen, patio and 3 peice bathroom. The main house has a shared  kitchen, large patio, 2 bathrooms and access to yoga studio. There are walking trails around the property that take you to near and further beautiful locations to explore on foot.)

  • What to wear?! Can I  finally dig out my cowgirl boots that are dying to make an appearance? (HECK YES! Bring stretchy clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Cowboy boots or a sturdy covered shoe, that you can walk in comfortably [think a Blundstone type] if you decide to check out a winery for one of the afternoons/evenings, bring something fun to change into for after the horse & yoga attire)

We hold the vision here at Graystar Farms, of togetherness in Nature.  We welcome collaborating and co-existing with land, water, and animals.   Our goal is to share this land, its inhabitants and its resources to support our collective AND individual healing.
